As part of World Ranger Day and National Parks Week/National Archaeology week; CMA members and volunteers are invited (along with friends and family) to come to Timberscombe Hill Fort (near Dunster, Minehead) any time from 10:30am onwards to find out more about its history. See how the National Parks Archaeologists have been finding out more and watch the re-enactors on the site to understand how Iron age people lived. Once the main event is over we will be having a BBQ (about 6pm) for all the Staff and Volunteer Helpers and CMA members. After the BBQ any one who wants is invited to join us at Wimbleball Lake for an evening of star gazing with the Tiverton astronomy Society. Things kick off at Wimbleball Lake from 8pm. After this camping will be available for a donation of £5 per person which will go towards IRF Dependency Fund.
