Heather Beetle Traiing Day - 18th August

Meet Exmoor National Park Rangers in Exford for a talk on Heather beetles, their life cycle and the damage they can cause.

After lunch a trip onto the moor to look at various management techniques that have been employed on the heather moor to promote healthy growth and control the beetle. These include swailing, flailing and round bailing.
